For a 3-day adrenaline-fueled fan fest on Labor Day Weekend, Porsche wanted to welcome both motorsport enthusiasts and new audiences to celebrate the brand and its racing heritage at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
XDA took over IMS and packed it with motorsport and lifestyle moments made to celebrate, educate, and inspire. Not only did we celebrate the Porsche GT in a record-breaking way — making it the world's largest gathering of GT vehicles — but we also amplified unique moments around racing and the brand.
The legendary Jeff Gordon came out of retirement to race a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car in the Carrera Cup. The Fan Zone featured masterclasses, live art installations, custom memorabilia, 80’s car-culture-themed pop-ups, RC racing featuring custom mini-GT Porsches, and US E-sports Championship racing. A movie night featuring Top Gun: Maverick (prior to its licensing release), was the perfect evening closer.
