How we inspired a world of techies to never settle

The evolution of a brand takes shape

For the first time in 3-years, OnePlus was ready to reveal its newest flagship smartphone with a global livestream and in-person launch at historic Gotham Hall. Following its merger with parent company OPPO, they were hoping to re-engage past users, attract new fans, and renew confidence in the OnePlus community. 

XDA reimagined the traditional product launch keynote, delivering a dramatic immersive experience that leveraged the venue’s unique architecture for a 300-degree projection mapped opening video that catapulted the audience into the narrative of “Evolve Beyond Speed.” 

The launch featured otherworldly sand-scapes with hyper-colorful flowers, a scenic entry rock wall made from the new materials of the 10T (Moonstone and Jade), and a larger-than-life 3D Cooling Display that brought the 10T’s features to life and resulted in a powerful return to in-person for OnePlus.
